stored in: Hi all... just woke up from the Yoshi gig @ the Doghouse this morning.... my head is pounding!!! haha must have been a good night.... I wondewhat happened to the rest of Yoshi!?!?!
The gig was really good, really pro venue to work with from a band point of view... The sound engineer on the night spent a good amount of time making sure the bands sounded good out front.. so thanks to the engineer the venue and the othe bands, 'the Get Downs' were pretty good...

stored in: Hi all, unfortunately we had to pull out of playing PJs, Dunfermline on tuesday night (12th August).
Ian (Our Drummer) was riding his bmx and fell off, badly injuring his wrist. We were all looking forward to playing this gig, and we'd like to thank (and apologise) everyone who came to see us - we hope to see you all at some future gigs!
stored in: A long time (one year) ago, from a land far, far away (Dunfermline) the mighty beast that is the ‘Scottish Music Scene’ was briefly shaken by seven Fifers and their conceptual, distinctive brand of ‘digi-hop-pop’. ‘Headphones’ hit the Scottish airwaves before the enigmatic collective had premiered their live material and Yoshi – confounding even their own expectations – briefly became a byword for originality in a scene that had, literally, heard it all before.
stored in: FIFE groovesters Yoshi are touring Scotland, starting at PJ's in Dunfermline on Tuesday. The seven strong band make an odd mix of indie, punk and hip-hop - but it works.
They're heavily influenced by Japanese videogame culture - hence their name - and use some cutting edge visuals as part of their live show.
